Law Firm, Licenses
Change-Pro Suite For Its Document
Comparison and Change Management Needs |
Winston-Salem,
N.C., December 1, 2004 – Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice
PLLC., a top 50 US law firm, announced today that it has signed an
agreement to license Change-Pro Suite™, a collaboration and
change management solution, from Litera® Corp. for 1000 users
in its 9 locations.
“Change-Pro Suite is the next generation of Document Change
Management products," said Sean Scott, CIO of Womble Carlyle.
"It goes way beyond document comparison and includes critical
functions such as the ability to accept or reject proposed changes
within the document, remove sensitive metadata automatically, and
e-mail documents directly from the application. It provides a full
PDF Suite that allows PDF-to-Word conversions as well as PDF editing
and annotation.” "Litera Corp. has built a product that
exceeds our expectations," Scott added. "The firm is migrating
now to Windows XP and Office 2003, and we decided this would be the
perfect time to upgrade our Change Management platform. It helps a
lot that Change-Pro Suite is so user-friendly.
We are excited to offer our users a comprehensive, integrated suite.”
Change-Pro Suite was designed with input from several law firms. “We
were asked to build a better alternative that has the features needed
to improve the workflow and quality of their end product," said
Deepak Massand, CEO of Litera. “We are committed to the needs
of our customers and are excited to offer a better alternative.” |
