Metadact®, combines the best of Out-of-Sight® and Metadata Sweeper® to bring you a metadata management utility that reduces the risk of unintentional disclosure of confidential information embedded in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and PDF documents electronically exchanged with outside parties. This user-friendly utility provides a mechanism to analyze and clean documents before they are sent out. It integrates with multiple e-mail systems so users are prompted to remove metadata from documents attached to e-mails prior to sending.
What is Metadact?
Metadact is an upgrade from the original Out-of-Sight metadata management product, that was merged with Litéra's Metadata Sweeper, and has been renamed to Metadact. It is a user-friendly utility which enables safe and effective management of metadata in all Microsoft Office and PDF documents. Metadacte (Server-Based Metadata Cleaning)
Metadacte® will soon be publicly available. Features of the server-based metadata cleaning solution include mechanisms for central policy management, user intervention controlled by central policy management and a patent-pending unified platform for mail gateway including Webmail and Blackberry attachments.
